Since 2015 I run the Swedish NGO Dataskydd.net, which focuses on data protection in law and in practise. We have created, among other things, the successful web privacy scoring tool Webbkoll (https://webbkoll.dataskydd.net) which provides technical guidance on data protection enhancements to web developers. In 2017 I started working with ARTICLE19 on covering the impact of technical design choices in IETF and IEEE standardization on the ability of individual users of technologies to exercise their human rights. For a few months in 2016 I was a guest researcher on cyber security and consumer rights at the Centre for Internet and Society in Bangalore, India.  I have been a member of the European Parliament between 2011 and 2014 working on telecommunications, data protection, intellectual property rights and standardisation of technology.
